This is a general template covering how Hisab Karain's subscription and service work. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer licensed in Pakistan — if you have specific legal concerns, we'd recommend a quick review by a local advisor before relying on it for disputes.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account and using the Hisab Karain app ("the App", "the Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Accounts are created for you directly by Hisab Karain; there is no public self-registration.

2. The service

Hisab Karain is a business record-keeping app for tailors, barber & gents salons, ladies salons, and (upcoming) home rental management. It works offline on your device and optionally backs up your data to the cloud when you have an internet connection.

3. Subscription and pricing

Payment is currently arranged directly with us via WhatsApp; we do not process card payments inside the app.

4. Grace period and account status

If your subscription is not renewed after the trial or a billing period ends, your account enters a grace period during which the app continues to function and you will see renewal reminders when adding new records. After the grace period ends, you will still be able to view and navigate your existing records, but will not be able to save new orders, customers, or entries until your subscription is renewed.

5. Account credentials

You are responsible for keeping your account ID and PIN confidential. If you believe your credentials have been compromised, contact us immediately on WhatsApp so we can lock your account and issue new credentials. Repeated incorrect login attempts will automatically lock an account as a security measure; contact us to have it unlocked.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of all business data you enter into the app, including your customer records. We store this data to provide the backup/sync service described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for complying with any applicable laws regarding your own customers' information (for example, obtaining any consent you may be required to obtain from your customers before recording their details).

We aim to keep the service reliably available, but as a small, independently-run product, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure limits, or connectivity issues may occasionally affect cloud sync — your locally stored data on-device is not affected by these interruptions.

9. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time by notifying us on WhatsApp; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and no partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period unless required by applicable law. Data associated with a cancelled account is retained for a reasonable period in case you wish to reactivate, after which it may be deleted per our data retention practices.

10. Limitation of liability

Hisab Karain is provided as a record-keeping tool to assist your business. While we take reasonable care to protect and preserve your data, we are not liable for business losses arising from data entry errors, connectivity issues, or events outside our reasonable control. We recommend keeping your own periodic exports or backups of critical business records where practical.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of the app after changes are communicated (via WhatsApp) constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
